About us
A more welcoming countryside
rural.lgbt is an Out Together project for LGBTQ+ people who live, work and contribute to rural communities across the UK.
LGBTQ+ people are part of every rural community. We work in farming, run businesses, care for neighbours and make our homes in villages, coastal communities and market towns. We deserve to feel safe, supported and able to be ourselves there.
Out Together is helping to build a connected and visible LGBTQ+ community across generations and regions. Its Out in the Country work began with a Farm Day in North Yorkshire and now includes rural hubs, events and digital inclusion training. rural.lgbt makes that support and community easier to find.
